I joined the sales team at Tidewater a decade ago after moving to Oriental from Charleston, SC. After a 2 year period cruising the Bahamas, Oriental NC became the destination of choice for my husband and me. Born in England, I emigrated to the United States after spending several years in Canada, and became a U.S Citizen in 1994.
Oriental and Pamlico County offers small town living and a friendly and caring environment. We are a home to many world class sailors as well as those who have always wanted to sail, along with every other water sport from kite boarding to dragon boat racing. Book clubs, theater groups and an active fine arts community are all here in Oriental. Beaufort and the Outer Banks are a short boat ride away.
A variety of affordable waterfront homes, vacant lots to build your own dream home or waterfront condos are available as well as commercial properties for those interested in starting their own business. Taxes are low and life is good in Oriental.
